I am unable to download attachments from email to my device, it just pops up a null: link, even if I try to share it via message or whatsapp from within email.
Battery Health on my X from Nov 2017 is still showing 98%, as it was on iOS 12
After I connect Bluetooth to car and get to destination I get respring, not using so don’t see it. But Asks for pin before Face ID will work again. Overall not to bad for beta 2. Funny excited to get and disappointing at the same time. Like hey got the new iOS 13, what’s the new features ? Dark mode and hud is smaller.
Battery has been horrendous - phone at 100 this morning around 7:30 (it’s 1pm now). Charged once for about 5 mins in the car a couple of hours ago. And I’ve barely used the phone at all (playing a game for a couple of minutes, checking App Store downloads, etc., but I’ve been working or at the gym all day otherwise...)
That’s not normal. You may have a rogue app installed. Check the battery settings to see what is using the most battery.
It says “App Store” has been using the most battery. It seems normal, although apps have been updating much slower since I’ve updated to beta 2. I also haven’t used any apps other than what I’ve been using on iOS 12 and iOS 13 beta 1.
As for App Store, the same slow app downloads have been occurring on my iPad Pro, which I’ve been using all day for work and is showing wondering battery retention.
Maybe beta 2 just needs to “sink in” to my iPhone?
I’m going to go ahead and give the device a full charge, close out all of my running apps and do a nice hard reboot
Okay, great and please keep us updated, if you don’t mind.
Some 3rd party apps don’t work but that’s expected.
Noticing that apps seem to pause when first opening. It can take as much as 15 seconds which is an eternity.
I tested all my 3rd party apps yesterday (approx 70), and surprisingly to me they all worked fine.
At this stage last year on early iOS 12 betas, I had quite a few that didn’t work.
Yeah see I can't have that... :rotfl: I have two games I play regularly that I won't be without. Guess I can always test them on my iPad before I try on my phone. Last year I jumped the gun and my games didn't work right away, I was bummed. The only one I can’t get to work is a game that I play. No big deal.
The search function in the Messages app is even better in beta 2 than it was in the first. I haven't deleted any message threads since 2015 so I have a lot of messages. Simply looking for the word "the" gives me a result, with context, of every time it was mentioned in a thread. The search in Messages is not useless anymore.
