Just out of curiosity, how many of us are basically running a beta version of iOS, whether Dev or Public, year round?

I’m definitely one of the people who are on a beta build year round. Are you?

I generally am with the exception of early beta releases right after WWDC. I usually wait for confirmation that it’s solid before installing.

I do, at least for my phone. When I got my new  Watch I stayed off the watchOS 5 beta until I knew it was ok. Watch I'm a bit more cautious with since you can't roll it back like you can the phone.

Been there, done that since Blackberry days. I'm pretty much done with Beta's since that first iOS beta 11 catastrophe.

I am usually on the beta with my iPad, though I went back to iOS 12.0.1 when the previous beta 12.1 beta 4 borked my cellular settings and displayed a blank panel.

You what now? I’ve been on betas since iOS 7, 7 was a far worse beta experience.

Yeah, I forgot what it’s like to not be on an iOS beta . I also run betas for a couple apps as well.

I decided to skip Beta's for now and I disagree that beta's was far worse before then now...IMHO

    I disagree with you disagreeing.
iOS 10, 11 and 12 betas have been nothing than pure joy for me.
Even the much criticized iOS 11 betas were not that big of an issue for me.
I simply worked around those bugs.

Not I. I had the iOS 12 Beta throughout as well as the iOS 11 Beta. Once the general iOS 12 release came out, I removed the profile and have little to no desire to do it again.

I usually run betas on the new big releases, then when the official comes out with the new phone releases I remove the profile and wait till the next summer and install betas again after the public betas get stable.
