I am currently using an iPhone X running iOS 12.1 dev beta 5.

I am running the same beta on both my X and 8 Plus...I haven't noticed any increase in battery life on the X, but I am enjoying better battery life on the 8 Plus...probably 30 minutes longer than with the last beta.

Would you recommend to install?

Only if you understand and accept the risks of running a beta. Some people cry foul when one or more of their installed 3rd-party app fail to work with the beta. They blame the beta for breaking the apps instead of understanding that the apps haven’t been updated to work properly with the beta. In addition they seem to forget that beta is unfinished software. Know what I mean?

With that in mind, iOS 12.1 has been rock solid for me and a good deal of other people.

They still haven't fixed the bug that doesn't show badge notifications for sub folders on exchange accounts in the native email app. Badges only show for primary inbox. They used to show a badge on all in iOS 11 and prior. I've submitted every beta in 12 and 12.1....nothing...
