iOS 12 Shortcuts

I use Siri frequently to make calls by saying ‘Hey Siri call so and so’ but if I’m not connected to Bluetooth I have to manually put the speaker on. Does any one know a way to make one of the new shortcuts were I can tell Siri to place a call and turn speaker on?

It’s always been possible to say “hey Siri, call mom on speaker” and have the audio come from the speaker

Not for me. I’ve tried that it doesn’t activate the speaker.

I just did and it worked and repeated that it was going to use the speaker. I looked at the settings for phone and in accessibility and everything looks default there

I don’t know it won’t work for me at all.

Ok after 4 very frustrating calls to Apple support I had to ‘RESET SETTINGS’ and now it finally works.
