No vibration when holding?

I noticed today while texting a friend that when she replied, my phone didn't vibrate despite having all my haptics turned on.

Is this a bug in 11.4 or is this just something is a small feature now and I just now found it? haha

If the screen was already on and the device already unlocked, I don’t *think* you’ll get a notification. I have ongoing text conversations fairly often, but I don’t pay any attention to the notifications during the engagement.

Right. But I’m talking about the vibration part. If I’m not in the text app I’ll get the notification up top but no vibration.
