Most likely due in part to the December 2nd local time and local notifications bug that is causing continuous resprings on some people’s devices that are on 11.1.2http://iphone.appleinsider.com/artic...-how-to-fix-it
Apple has released IOS 11.2 which does not have this issue https://www.macrumors.com/2017/12/02...ases-ios-11-2/
Good luck to all with this update.

The beta is released as official due to this bug.
And in general, a GM build of any version gets pushed as official release the week after it’s made available to beta testers.

Install went well on iPad Pro 10.5" and iPhone X. However, I only see Apple Pay Cash on the iPad. Any one else seeing this issue?

It’s not an issue, Rene put in the article, it won’t be active until Monday.

No problem, I just happened to see it in the article earlier. It’s understandable, 11.2 was probably going to be released then. Then this spiffy new bug popped up.

Just updated. No problems yet. 2 welcome changes I’ve noticed so far: 1) the stock weather widget has gone back to bold font on the temperature, and 2) the App Store is now using your profile picture instead of the generic silhouette it has been using.

Maybe, but it still doesn’t work. A totally pointless widget right from the start of iOS 11. Apple should be ashamed of themselves!

It worked fine for me on iOS 10, but hasn’t worked for me and many others at all on iOS 11.
It just simply doesn’t update, no matter what settings you use.

That’s crazy, and I’m sorry it isn’t working for you. To be sure, I have 3 third party weather apps installed and the current temperature at my location is 73°. The one that uses the generic temp location like the native Weather app display 73°, whereas the two that uses local weather stations are at 72° so the native Weather app it’s still working on my end. With that in mind, have you tried the following?

    1. Reset Network settings
    2. Reset All settings

When was the last you you set up your device as new?

Without question it is the worst in regard to reported issues, but for someone like me who typically set up my device as new with a major iOS update, it’s been great.

Not to seem overly Kool-Aid drinker or something, but I haven’t had any major bugs thus far despite my phone practically being glued to my hand.

It is, but with all of the huge changes made to the iPad in this release, plus a new UI for the iPhone X, it's probably not surprising that this one is more challenging than other years, when there was no new significant hardware change or radical usability shifts in the platform.

It does make me think that I will wait for at least iOS 12.1 next year before I upgrade, no matter what usability and functionality changes are promised for iOS 12.
