iOS 11.1 Public Beta 2

I dont seem to be able to see the new emojis using Swiftkey keyboard. Only using the stock keyboard... I hate the stock keyboard.

We'll probably have to wait for Swiftkey to do an update.

Is this better than 11.0.2 on a 8 Plus? Really wanting to try it if so.

It’s running really well on my 8+ compared to 11.0.2. It’s buttery smooth (had some stutters at the beginning but they have disappeared).

Can’t say anything about battery life though but I’ll take a look at that today

There's always some risk when you install it. If you understand that the possibility exists that you could lose your health data, photos, text messages, phone log, with possible corrupted backups etc., then go ahead and install it. If you're not willing to risk those things, it's best to wait for the official release.

You can add the stock emoji without the stock keyboard. Go to settings > General > keyboards > Add new keyboards > scroll down to emoji.

it's already there. I can see the new emojis using the stock keyboard, but they dont show up when I am using Swiftkey and looking at the emoji's in Swiftkey..

Can someone post the build number on the public beta 2 for 11.1? Is there a way to determine if it is later than the 11.03 release and whether it has the 11.03 fixed? I have 11.03 on another phone. Thanks.

11.1.0 beta 2 build number is 15B5078e compared to 15A432 for 11.0.3 official.

No idea what you mean by ‘whether it has the 11.03 fixed’?

Sorry for my typo. I meant whether the beta 2 of 11.1 also had the "fixes" contained in 11.03 (over 11.02). Depends upon which build was later, 11.1 beta 2, or official release 11.03, I suppose.

Left my location and then came back. It was still off and I had to physically turn it back on so it was a nice surprise. I turned off my Bluetooth yesterday afternoon and it is still off now, next morning. Usually it would have turned back on automatically.

You don’t need to go anywhere or to wait for the morning to check this. Just turn off WiFi or Bluetooth in Control Center and go to Settings to see if it is actually turned off. That’s how it worked before in iOS 10.

I had that problem too. I removed the iOS beta profile and resubmitted it and was able to download it after that! Hope this helps!

is this via control center? Cuz when I turn it off using control center, it just disconnects from the current wifi. Looking at WiFi in Settings, it's still "ON," which is how I like it.... I like the disconnect feature, but still have wifi on to connect later.
