iOS 11 keyboard lag

Has anyone experienced issues with their iphone keyboard with iOS 11? I'm finding that they keyboard isn't registering when I hit a key, and I have to go back and re-type. This happens with about half the keys I hit.

I’ve not experienced that with either my Phone 7 Plus or my iPhone 8 runner my iOS 11. Have you tried rebooting your device or resetting all settings?

Yep, I've done all the fixes I could find, including the relevant resets

I have not experienced such lag either on both my iPad and iPhone.

I would restore with iTunes, if I were you.
Sounds like a software issue!

I’ve never had that problem with my 7 Plus or iPad.

I did get my screen replaced about a day after updating, could that be it?

Yes, and it has been like that since beta 1.

If you’ve restored from a backup each time, you might want to consider setting the device as new. I’m not experiencing ir have ever recalled experiencing lag with the native iOS keyboard.

Yes! My 8plus is lagging with the keyboard. It shows up blank and I have to wait a bit for it to show up or force the app closed and try again. It’s not just your phone.

Have you upgraded the iOS version to v11.0.2?

Pretty bad on my ip6. Makes me reluctant to update my SE until some things get ironed out.

1. Keyboard typing lagging sometimes (not always)


2. Emoji keyboard is blocking they typing space (facebook)

3. Emoji keyboard is blocking some of the message windows (whatsapp)
