I haven’t. My battery is as good as it was on 10. What model iPhone are you using? Have you done a full reset since initially loading iOS 11??

Yeah my phone has reset.

I don’t believe in all that hard resetting, app initialisation, wipe clean and fresh install for better battery life etc.

I have done that so many times over the years with iPhones and other phones -
It makes no difference what so ever.

It sounds like you’re determined to have battery issues. There’s no fix for that.

I installed the public beta 9 last night on my 7 plus.. I’m not that impressed with it and the new features but I must say I’ve experienced amazing battery life today, I’ve used my phone all day like usual and I’m still at 73%, usually I’m at 60% or so!

I’d concur with great battery on this build. iPhone 7, and after a full day of use I get home at over 50%. Happy with that

Wow! I’ve never ever managed that on a public release never mind a beta!

I’ve found the same where a full reset has made no difference to the battery

Starting to notice the increased battery drain in the latest build now.

Been on iOS 11 beta since the start. Battery got immediately worse and the subsequent releases haven’t made it any better.

I hope there’s another release. Still rotation issues on iPads.

Seconded

Anyone else having a screen brightness issue? I never use auto brightness and always keep my phone on max brightness. Since I’ve been using beta 8 and now 9 my screen will lower the brightness randomly. Not while I’m using it though.

I’ve noticed that too

I don’t see why so many people saying the battery is rubbish on iOS 11 so far, I’ve been on beta since PB1 with my iPhone 7 and battery has lasted all day, sometimes 2 days depending on use.

How??? I can’t even get to dinner time without having a top up charge!

Not at all.

I’m merely stating that I have tried and tested so many different methods and probably every method in the book over the years and nothing makes a difference apart from the software itself -
Regardless of how it’s downloaded or installed.

Dunno, but on a normal day I’ll only use 30-40% and I use my phone a lot.

Must be my phone and battery, just lucky to get a good one I guess.

Nearly 3pm now and took of off charge this morning at 6:30.
