No, the ‘j’ is a revised version of beta 2.
Apparently there were some issues on non-iPhone 7 devices, so they fixed that. And pushed it at the same time out as a Public beta.

This means there are no any differences between the dev and public beta, so far.

Ok. I’m not really having problems with this beta. Just wanted to start clean. Maybe it will be fixed in beta 2.

If you want to clean install, just ipsw it, using PC or mac, no xcode installation required. After a week with dev beta, it is becoming smoother.. and battery seems to get better on the 6s+

One of the warnings about the Beta 2 is that "dropped calls" are more frequent than with 10.3.3. I have iOS 11 Beta 2 on my iPad, and it's working well. My major concern about installing Beta 2 on my iPhone 7 is the possibility of dropped calls. I can deal with all the other issues.

Is anyone actually experiencing dropped calls on the iPhone 7 with Beta 2?

I just restored my iPad back to iOS 10.3.2 from iOS 11 PB1 via iTunes by putting it in DFU mode, worked flawlessly, if anyone is thinking of going back to iOS 10, this method works fine.

The random capitalization of words with no rhyme or reason pokes at my inner grammar nut. It's one thing if I accidentally mess up. It's another thing if my device is the one messing up and I have to go back and fix it. It's not a huge inconvenience. It's really not an inconvenience at all. Just an annoyance.

I haven't experienced this either (public beta, T-Mobile iPad Pro 12.9)

Experiencing a few jitters here and there. Battery life is not so great with heavy usage. All apps I use are working at this point in time. But overall I am pleased with where iOS 11 is heading.

As many of you know you can change what the double tap does on your Air Pods in iOS 11 , but if you to switch your Air Pods back to an iOS 10 device the setting stays the same. So if you wanted to change the default Siri functions then you can do it on an iOS 11 beta device and then pair your Air Pods to your iOS 10 device and it still keep those new settings.

Just noticed that. Thank you.

I’ve yet to experience any dropped calls using iOS 11, whether beta 1 or beta 2.

So with Twitter/FB login removed from settings, how is one to share to those services from within other apps now? That's removing a critical social feature! Surely not...?

You could probably still use your Facebook log in credentials. You just can't tap on the Facebook logo to do it.

Sharing to FB and Twitter is still the same as on iOS 10. You just need to have the apps installed for the credentials, the rest goes as it was before.
