I have tried several times to downgrade from iOS 11 B2-->B1--> iOS 10.3.2 without any success. I have not had a chance to try the 10.3.3 restore, but will tonight.

Question, if the 10.3.3 restore works, will my archived backup of 10.3.2 be able to be used to restore the phone contents?

Thanks for the info. Tried DFU mode several times with the 10.3.2 IPSW file and never properly restored. At work now, but will try another method tonight.

You should easily be able to downgrade to the latest official iOS version for your device via DFU mode and iTunes.

You would think, but once the restore finishes, iTunes pops up a window stating you need to update or restore phone. Only luck I am having is with iOS 11 beta 1 during restore.

Are you saying that you’re only able to restore iOS 11 Dev Beta 1?

Yes. I have downloaded the 10.3.2 IPSW file and tried DFU and option pick that file while in iTunes restore and it still fails.

Please use the quote option when replying. Thanks.

Anyway, try deleting the .ipsw file for all other iOS versions except for the one you want to restore. Afterwards, reboot your computer and then try again via DFU mode.

Had this same issue called Apple support and it's apparently an issue with Beta 2 and iTunes on windows PC. I had to download iOS11 beta 1 IPSW install it then used iTunes to downgrade back to 10.3.2

I am in the same boat, expect trying to do this with a Mac. I have downloaded both iOS 11 B1 and iOS 10 10.3.2 and cannot get it to restore. Were you able to successfully do so on the first try?

@reversalagent Yes, first restored to beta 1 was successful, then used iTunes to restore to 10.3.2

I have a windows machine with iTunes on it, but I cannot believe that would make any difference. Almost curious if better just to stay on iOS 11 and just restore from archived iOS 10 backup and continue on. Only problem is Apple Watch is no longer connecting to phone.

I DFU downgraded as follows:

Reinstall Beta 2 -> then Beta 1 -> finally 10.3.2, no problems.

Some need to go:
Reinstall Beta 2 -> Beta 1 -> 10.3.3 Beta 4 -> 10.3.2

I'm sticking with 10.3.2. It gets better wife approval as my daily driver ("That's what you get for effing with your phone!").
