    Will it be possible now that the new Files app appears to support storing documents locally (without needing a cloud service or separate 3rd party app).

    Had a similar wish list item for iOS 10.

    Yes, you will be able to store documents locally on the device, without it being pushed to iCloud or another cloud service.

    you have to use 3rd party app for sure. the one i know is documents, which i always use.
