Does the Files app require you to install separate apps to hook in your Cloud Storage, or is the integration built into the system, similar to how Facebook and Twitter work in iOS 10 (I know that's getting removed) ?

It's not turned on but, you will have to wait for 3rd party apps to have this worked into their app as well.

Files needs to institute touch id for the app. All the 3rd party services its eventually going to support have Touch ID built into their respective apps

Yes, there is an ‘On My iPad’ folder, to save files and folders locally.

Yes but when I get in there no way to create a folder.
Long press don't open the menu for creating a new folder...
I tried to move a folder to it from iCloud and it does not work...

Note I'm on an iPhone 6s with iOS 11 beta 1.

Yes, I tried this too. It’s like the On My iPhone folder is read-only.
