The iOS 11 concept by "Matt Birchler" features new lockscreen, new widgets and new homescreen.

Wow, that's as close to Android as I've seen iOS get, concept or not. That'd be very interesting to see, but I don't think Apple will alter it's UI so soon after the 10 refresh. It'll probably be incremental with new features and better accessibility.

I would love iOS to have widgets, but I don't think Apple will ever put them on the homescreens until they can figure out how to get them to work seemlessly. Everyone knows they're hit and miss in Android (don't refresh, lockup, etc...) which has been a constant complaint since the beginning, so Apple will never put that into their UI until it is perfected. I'm sure that's why they have them in their own screen. Kind of like a test I think. It would be great though. That's really the only thing I like about Android over iOS.

Not sure how much I like that. I'd have to see it in action. The home button is also still there. I'd rather see an iOS 11 take on the rumored devices sans home button.

From the pics, it's too Android-like, in my opinion. Maybe a video would do it more justice.

I like the use of colors. It has taken some inspiration from Android, which I like but don't think so, we will have small useful widgets on the home screen soon from Apple :(

I like iOS because it is NOT Android. I hope the changes they make are fresh and useful but not a copy of Android.

Pretty much this. I'll be disappointed if they ever do an Apple-flavored Android. If I wanted that I could go Android right now—why wait?—and do a custom theme/launcher.
