Unwanted Airdrop option

I updated to iOS 10.3 the other day and now when I open the Share panel, it has a large Airdop banner at the top.

Airdrop is disabled in Restrictions.

I have even re-enabled it, rebooted, and disabled it again.

Don't need it, don't want it.

Not yet, I wanted to see if anyone here had seen this or has any suggestions first. Apple Feedback is not tech support. Apple may or may not act on items sent that way, but they never ever respond to feedback.

I'm well aware that feedback and tech support are not the same thing. Your original post led me to believe your problem was a software design issue, not a technical issue.

While I wouldn't expect Apple to respond individually to every piece of feedback that comes in—that would be ridiculous—I'm sure they look at aggregate data in determining future software and product changes and enhancements.
