Videos not rotating on 10.2?

I have the latest iOS running on my iPhone 7+. With the newest iOS I've noticed that when I watch videos and want to rotate the phone (already on landscape mode) the video won't reformat. I'll have to select "Done", rotate my phone to how I want to view the video then go to select play. Has anyone else noticed this? I find it annoying as I wouldn't have to do this in previous iOS. I know it's petty to fuss over, but it is a tad annoying.

Edited to add: my phone has the rotation lock off so it's not locked to a certain side.

I'm using the TV app, which used to be Videos

Haven't had that issue on my 6s+ in Videos or TV, but I did notice sometimes YouTube and Facebook videos do that...

It only happens when I go to watch videos I have downloaded on the new TV app. Works perfectly fine for YouTube, Facebook, etc. Weird

Remove your TV app and try to Re-install it again.

Already tried and same issue. I'm going to reset my phone tomorrow to see if that fixes the issue. Thank you
