Installed today morning with hope that battery would be better in beta 6 but aftre using for around 6 hrs, battery remains same as B4 & B5. Beta 3 was best for battery performance so far. Let's see whether takes care in final release.

I agree battery on beta 6 still not great. Not nearly as good as the early 10.2 betas.

When providing battery good/bad, please tell us what phone you have. It would be interesting to note if there are any similarities between models.

I am curious too, my SE hasn't been what it used to be the past month and a half. I would enroll in the betas again and try them but I just don't want to go through the hassle of having to re-install 10.1.1 just to get the official release. I wish you could go from betas to release versions without needing to do that...

iPhone 6s+ here battery life on the beta 5 is terrible can anyone else give validity to the beta 6 battery improvement statements because I'm about ready to jump back to OR I'm so frustrated with beta 5

Try swiping any battery hog apps out of multitasking. Like Facebook. Then do a hard reset. (Reboot).

I've been thoroughly impressed with beta six battery life.

I can't say I'm impressed because usually my battery doesn't go down much listening to music in the background. My 7+ is much better without the beta.

It's all that bold type using more power!

I e always had it on bold. None of my settings changed and I actually haven't even been using my phone as much but the battery still isn't what it use to be.

There was a story that came out yesterday that Apple reported that the next iOS update will have a battery diagnostic to help Apple discover if more phones are having the iPhone 6s shutdown issue. I wonder if that new diagnostic is affecting battery life overall in the latest betas?
