Music Apps that specialize in playlists / local media

I have finally lost my patience with apples stock music app. I can't stand having to search google every time they update the app to try and figure out how to use it.

I used to have an app called groove which seems to have disappeared from the App Store that did a decent job creating playlists from my local media.

Suggestions for something similar? I almost never stream music and don't really care to.



edit: drove myself crazy for about an hour researching this and good news (sarcasm...) my favorite app was purchased by Microsoft and now everyone hates it. Awesome.

I use VOX and it works pretty well for a wide variety of music formats, iTunes music, FLAC, etc. I am not sure about creating playlists, though it recognizes my iTunes playlists that I have already made there. I also use the VOX app on my desktop and there are some consistent similarities.
