Photos app - Memories taking TOO long to load

On the Memories page of the Photos app it is stuck on Scanning. At first I thought it was because my screen locked after a minute so I changed the lock time to never but to no avail.

Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!

New icon at the bottom of the Photos app - here's an article on it - How To Make Photo Memories In iOS 10, A Complete Guide

Right up there with the new People album in the app as a 'feature' I'll never use, but nice for someone, I guess.

I've had the same issue for a while now. Haven't found a solution, unfortunately. Snapchat Memories only seems to save the last few snaps and the rest are blanked out. I recently cleared my cached data, so I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it.
