Getting my outlook calendar to work in ios

I know this may be a newbie stupid question so I apologize in advance.
I am deeply embedded in onedrive/outlook/calendar and I have had no issues using my microsoft mail account, but for the life of me I cannot get my live calendar to show up in my iphones. I tried adding using tha caldav settings, but I have no idea how to plug it all in.

I can download outlook mail as an app and use it that way, but I would much prefer to use the built in calendar and siri to add events etc.

Set your mail account up as an exchange account.
Then your mail, contacts and calendar will be set up automatically.
