Does the volume indicator still take up half the screen so it blocks videos for half an hour?

This is one of the most annoying things about IOS. is the volume indicator still there for half an hour blocking half the screen? sucks when watching video clips and you have to adjust volume.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing when watching videos. The screenshot depicts a video of an ESPN interview, and as you can see, the volume indicator is not visible.

I have never experienced the volume indicator appearing on screen for "half an hour" blocking any video nor have I read about it anywhere else on the forum. What device are you using? What are you watching when this is happening? What app are you using? Some additional detail would be helpful.

You can always use your volume buttons on your device to regulate volume.
