Agreed. I said after the game that they should still be among the four playoff teams. The coaches’ conservative play calling, especially the odd fourth and eleven call near the end cost them the game. Alabama is still the better team, but they are indeed beatable.
I don't agree the 4th and 11 call cost them the game. Bama had the MO and would likely have scored, even it put back on the 15. I think Kirby realized that. His mistake was not calling time out when he saw Bama's defensive set. But it may have been too late to do so, as Bama covered the receivers at the last few seconds. It was a bad call.
