Well, Pitt plays the spoiler again. Pitt beat Clemson last year on 11/12/16. But Clemson went on to the playoffs. Maybe Miami will as well. They'll have to beat Clemson.

Although I would have preferred a victory, this was the one to lose prior to next week’s showdown with Clemson. Take that feeling into Charlotte next week and then unleash on Clemson. They know a victory over Clemson keeps them in the hunt for the championship. If they win next week, today’s loss would be moot.

Agreed, and imo the one strength of Wisconsin that I think is being somewhat overlooked, or discounted by the media is UW’s defensive play and ability.

Unless he’s running away from the pressure of coaching one of the Florida Big 3 teams, it doesn’t make sense for him to leave FSU. Granted, I’m not considering any personal reasons that may cause him to leave.
