Okay, so as we all know, the iPhone 6s was the ninth iPhone released in the hardware's cycle. The next rumored iPhone is the iPhone 7. However, I think that this would be the perfect time for Apple to actually reset their names so that the number of the iPhone actually matches the generation of said phone.

Ergo, the next iPhone should be named iPhone X (or iPhone 10; whatever.) I just think that Apple keeps naming the phones according to the rumored number of the phone. If we, as a community, start calling it iPhone X (10), then maybe that's what Apple will call it. And to be honest, iPhone 6s being the NINTH iPhone (and so on) has been driving me crazy for years. It's unintuitive and, as a result, is conflicting with Apple's philosophy of simplicity.

Anyway, what do you guys think? iPhone X, iPhone 10, or keep it as iPhone 7? Sound off!
