St. Louis is the best baseball city IMO. Best overall sports city is Chicago. Jordan, Pippen, Banks, Williams, Thomas, Hull, Mikita, Toews, Kane, Payton, Butkus, Sayers etc.

Boston is certainly a great argument for such, but then again, going by talent and historical success, you'd have to place New York up there as well (as much as it pains me).

In baseball, I think it would be hard to argue against the fact that Atlanta had an insane amount of success (even if it was limited to only a singular world championship). The amount of talent the team saw through the 90's and into the early 00's was almost incomparable, and the amount of division titles in succession will probably never be seen again...EVER.

Problem with Atlanta though is that we've so rarely taken our teams to the big dance. I think Atlanta has a very historic and interesting run of sports franchises, but definitely not the "best", just damn good I suppose you could say, similar to San Fran in that regard.
