Dualshock 4 and iPad 12w wall charger?

I am wondering if anyone has used the Apple 12w wall charger to keep their DualShock 4 controllers charged while gaming?

No but I think I used it a few times in the past with my DualShock 3 controller

Sorry for the late post, but the 12w charger doesn't work to charge the Dualshock 4.

Thanks Speedy. I tried with a brand-new unused Dualshock 4 in the wall itself and it did not light up. I am using the cable that came with the system.
