So there is this carpet store beneath my house and I've known the owners for a very long time now.
One day, over almost 2 years ago, they asked me to set up a network between two computers to access bills and invoices on one of those computers.
As I'm familiar with networks and such, I found it sometimes tricky for illiterates like those friends to explain the what and how's. For example, to be able to access that folder the computer it is on has to be powered on at that moment.
So instead, I installed Dropbox on all their computers (2) and placed a shortcut on their desktop
Right now they are expanding to another location with 6 computers which has to be able to access that folder.
Because of my decision back then, all I had to do was installing Dropbox and placing a shortcut on the desktop. Piece of cake.
Sometimes it's good to say I'm proud of myself
