    He'll be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Obviously I'm not a Yankee fan but I wish there were more players like him.

    I'm a Yankee fan and I didn't want this day to come , but father time waits for no one. Derek Jeter will be missed, one of the all time GREATS.

    Congrats to Jeter. He can retire super duper rich. He may do some broadcasting or coaching. Kids coming up will listen to him. He's a legend but not a old man.

    He said for past 20 plus years the main thing on his mind every year is baseball. It's time for something different.

    One of the true greats, will be missed. Always a class act and great ambassador for baseball. The Yankees got it right with him, lord knows we missed and messed up on a lot of others.
