I got a personal email directly from Tim Cook (it was from his Nigerian email account) telling me that it would be out later this week and asking for my credit card info. I gave him the info and now I’m waiting by the door for the FedEx truck...
Can you forward me the details? I'd like to also give him my credit card number to make sure I'll be able to get it...I don't want to risk having to wait a couple of minutes past the release time, because the iPhone won't feel the same if i get it hours after release vs. the precise moment the store touches one of the boxes. That's just how i roll...when you guarantee me a June iPhone, I want a damn June iPhone. The fall iPhone is for chumps...
I would assume no. The new iPhone will probably be released this fall, as has been the pattern with Apple's mobile devices, and it would have been announced in the keynote on the 10th if it were to be released so soon.
