Hey all getting close to the big 20K!

Hope everyone had a good day today. The sun finally peeked out but it was windy so I didn't so any sun worshiping. LOL. According to the weather reports, El Nino is coming on board so it should make the weather interesting for the next year. We shall see if it's true. More stuff for us weather geeks to talk about!

Yes on CB the official count is the PC count, no other count.

Thank you Wendy as I am fairly certain that all the forums are like that. I just checked on my PC with 3 browsers and on my iPhone on Safari and they all match. It is only the 3rd party apps that are off and we might not ever know.

You read my mind as I was alerted to this discrepency last night by Keith . I think personally and again my opinion...We should go by desktop /Laptop computer instead of the iMore forum app or TT given the fact that these ARE apps always being updated, bug issues etc. I use mt PC 75% of the time to access iMore and post counts have never been wrong.

Let me give an example that Wendy can attest to at CB and their 500K thread or I can't remember the number but they are Number 1 and they always go by PC count all this time. I don't know what else to do to say that we are pretty well going to have to do PC count. Pr1nce just messaged me that it is being looked into by a higher up that he reached out to and see what that answer is.

EDIT: It was just sugessted to me by one of my partners in crime...LOL and I think I know and hope all of you would agree that we need to go by iMores official post count as opposed to a 3rd party app. iMores post count has always been official and that is where will will proceed from here on with iMore and not Tapatalk or the iMore forum app. ok with everybody here??

Jag you started the thread you decide who has post 20k

What are you on? A PC or your phone for when you are saying what post is yours?? Also It is me who started it but I won't decide who 20K is bamf. The only reason I wrote what I did back a number of pages that I asked you to read was because you were gone and I wanted you to be in on catching up on what has been happening. We have som to the conclusion that we are going to use iMores post count which to me as far as I m concerned is really always or has to be official. I did NOT want a frenzy od anyone going nuts ab out posting over and over back to back and not be fair.

Now as far as whoever hits it as was suggested that we stop posting at when we are 10 away at 9:00PM EST and then everyone first of all will know that and make every attempt to say oh I have to get to 20K. Then hopefully we will all be here and just post. Whoever is lucky enough to hit 20K hits it. Our entire idea of all this was that simply great for that person but this is, was and always will be about every single person in this thread if you posted once and never came back.

We all know as a group, As a family we have become who has posted, Been here for each other, Made great close friends etc. I am going on because I caught this thought and I want to get it out so everyone knows how I feel about it. You and I and a few others have hit milestones and whoever hits 20 that will be wonderful for them. The best of all is we set out to do something and we did it well close to it right now.

I am actually worried about one person only but I do not want to mention his name that will destroy this whole thing we have set down but there is no way to really say anything to him because he has a badge under his name like you and me and has been known as of last week to do this post after post and only out of sheer luck and I mean that I just happened to be here and hit 19K. He was mad and left right after that. Anyway that is really it and i think you get the idea. Let's all play fair, It is not a contest - it is a thread with many fine people who care for each other and that is why I started it. Enough Way to much to say by me so I will end this.

If we had been going like we are now from day one we would be at 50k already

That will be on round 2 for sure if we vote on a a title change after we hit 20. We have been talking about it.
