Morning all. I opted to skip my walk this morning to let my body rest.

Plus, tonight is leg day at the gym!

Call me SQUATZILLA :)

see I want to do sqauts but I still haven't had the nerve to in my gym. The same with lunges although I just might start doing that at home. I also learned a new excercise I can do on an incline bench which I have my own at home.

Don't worry about the nerve. Start off light and just do it. No one is going to look down at you for doing squats.


Here is my routine for tonight

Squats 10 sets x 6-8 reps. Pyramid up to 1RM then back down
Stiff Leg Deadlifts 10 sets x 6-8 reps. Pyramid up to 1RM then back down
Crunches 4 sets x 100 reps

If I am still able to walk, which is not likely, I will load up the power sled and push that around the gym for a little while.

5x 10 reps wide grip lat pulldowns
10 minutes on the treadmill :biggrin:

Its not about keeping up :) Its about getting in the gym and working out.

I did Chest and Biceps yesterday

Flat Bench 15 sets x 6-8 reps pyramid up to 1RM then back down :)
Ez-Bar Curl 8 sets x6-8 reps ladder up to 1RM
Leg raises 4 sets x 25 reps

I am in a strength/bulk phase so one major exercise (compound) per body part.

I will do this type of workout for a month or two. I have been doing it for a few weeks already and am at 5-10% strength increases from day 1.

Wow that's so beautiful Laura !!! I'm no good with plants. I'm sure when I walk through the garden section and house plant section of store they must all turn their leaves and say 'PLEASE DON'T BUY ME' :concern:
The African violet is the first plant that's been successful for me, and it took a year till it bloomed. None of my previous plants did well.

Oh believe me I know what you mean it will be going back. I ordered it in a moment of indulgence without even thinking I tend to do that which is why I stay away from malls lol
I have done the same thing many times and then feel guilty for doing it and send or take it back if local.

All this talk about MBP... I'm still waiting for the new ones. Hopefully later this month??? Shhh don't tell my sons PC that it's being replaced or it will refuse to work lol!! It was promised as a graduation gift...almost funny now!
