Just came across this epic infographic ( http://www.xcubelabs.com/enterprise-mobility-infographic.php ) on enterprise mobility and thought it would be nice to share. It is surprising how such a dry topic like enterprise mobility can be used to create such awesome graphics... there's tons of data for those genuinely interested to learn, even otherwise the graphics is really good to look at.

It's interesting, and like you say the look of the chart is MUCH more interesting than the data contained there in! LOL

This a very nice infographic! It really is interesting how BYOD is really transforming certain industries. Healthcare for example has turned a new leaf in the last couple years in terms of certain technology being allowed. Physicians can now carry their personal devices with them to work! To quote your infographic .. "85% of more than 130 Hospitals surveyed support BYOD for physicians and staff" and 70% of organizations are already using or planning to use custom mobile applications.

I have a buddy over at Childrens Hospital of Boston and one of their big new projects was the implementation of a new virtual paging system. He told me it was called OnPage and it optimizes their communication process for the better. A bunch of physicians from the hospital are using this app straight on their own smartphone and when they need to be paged for an emergency of some sorts the page goes straight to the app on the phone instead of their old archaic pager. Pretty cool right? My how the times have changed! Any one else know of any cool appliations being used by Healthcare or any other industries for BYOD?

With the growth of BYOD, CYOD and the expansion of cloud services, a key issue is data security when deploying new mobile platforms for business.
Experts recommend playing it safe:
• Concentrate on application management rather than on devices and network security management
• Don’t try to save money on mobile innovations for your business. Ordering low quality software can lead to unforeseen costs resolving security issues later.

Here is also a very informative article about pros and cons of mobile technologies in business
