Does Netflix do this on purpose?

When I go the netflix website and browse new releases, Netflix seems to constantly miss titles. Case in point, I log on and go to browse new releases. Moneyball is not there. I then go and search for it and sure enough, there it is. What sort of algorithim are they using that would not list Moneyball under new releases? This one is fresh in my memory, but it happens all the time. I have to go to amazon or the Itunes and browse new realeses and then go back to Netflix to search for them.

Is this part of thier business model? If so, it sucks.

There website and apps on the Xbox and PS3, etc all are horrid in their current forms. You are 100% right and it's almost like they want you to miss the bigger titles. Especially the new streaming titles.

Wasn't there some deal Netflix made with movie studios preventing them from getting the new releases? Think they have to wait like 30 days.
