I agree the concept seems cool but regular android phones have pretty bad battery life. I'm sure that added outlet of battery power does not work out too well.

I had a android phone, coming from that relm, I find it better in the walled garden. The one thing I will miss is the full control.

Keep in mind that there will always be phones coming out with more and more features and better specs. The good thing about the iPhone is that it retains its value, therefore you can always sell it later if you find a phone that you just can't do without. AT&T is coming out with their first round of LTE smartphones this month, so I am always looking even though I really like my 4S.
