How to tell if there's spy software on your mobile phone.
I have a Nokia mobile phone...it's just a pretty basic phone. It's been acting weird lately (randomly shutting off). It could be that I spilled water on it but I also suspect that maybe a nosy relative of mine installed spy software on my phone. I've heard of such mobile spy software to spy on phone activity. Is this possible and how can I tell? I reset the phone to factory settings but I don't know if it helped or not.

If you reset the phone to factory, any software that might have been installed on it should be wiped out. I am willing to bet you spilling water on it is playing a huge factor as to why it is shutting off randomly.

Other spy software use expensive SMS forwarding to send the recorded messages but this is not the case with the mobile spy software. The data is uploaded using the GPRS which will cost you nothing.
