Ok...is anyone else tired of all the instant messaging apps suddenly available on the iPhone? Who cares how many way you can talk to strangers with iPhones.

So there are these really cool things that have been around for years that most of us probably already have: Yahoo, AIM, Skype, Windows Live Messenger. And they all either have iPhone apps of their own, (some for free!), or there are unified clients like BeeJive or IM+ - that most of us already own - or you can send your im's to text.

So instead of adding every new iPhone only client to your iPhone...why don't we all just go old school and exchange the IM names for services we're all already using with apps we (probably) already have and can use even with our less fortunate brethren who don't own iPhones.

Not only that, but if people really want to talk, we can be found at home on <gasp!> desktop clients.

I'll start:

AIM:allflow
MSN:alli @ allibama dot net
Skype:alli00
Yahoo:alliflowers
GChat:allibama
ICQ:(Just thought I'd throw this one in...haven't used it in years.)

Feel free to add other clients when you fill in your own info.
