I went snow skiing for the first time in Vail during the last week of season (April) and loved it. Want to go back again in December, but heard Telluride was pretty fun.

I now know my way around the Vail mountain a bit (still think I would do lessons this second time as well), but thinking it might be fun to try something new.

So veteran skiers what do you recommend?

I don't have a recommendation, but if you have a moment when passing through Denver, let's get coffee!! =D

For sure, but since we are going in season we might just take a flight to Vail airport, not sure yet.

If you are new and taking lessons then it doesn't matter too much what mountain you are at, other than the scenery easy trails are pretty much the same no matter where you are at. Colorado snow is amazing though, I wish I had the money and time to head out to CO this year.

It's been almost 40 years, but I used to spend a lot of time at Medicine Bow. Time flies when you're having life.

I live here in Denver. Try Steamboat, A-basin and Copper. Those are my favorites.
