Let’s hope! I hope they can outlaw spam texts too. I’ve gotten two in the past today’s, but could not successfully report them to my carrier because the number lacked one digit! A screenshot is attached!

This is great news if it actually does something. The trouble is that 99% of these calls, in my experience, are coming from overseas. They don’t care much what our laws are and don’t seem to hesitate breaking them.

Preventing companies from requiring users to agree to being contacted by phone about special promotions, etcetera in order to be able to use an app or service should be part of the bill/law, in my opinion.
