Riding your bike and trying to use your phone at the same time can be a pretty risky move,......

Now with all the bike riders out there trying to get bike laws passed to "share the road", but they don't want to follow the same traffic laws. This is one of those situations. If you're riding a bike, the LAST thing you need to be doing is playing with your phone. You shouldn't text and drive (which is illegal in many states) and you really shouldn't text and ride. I've been hit once by a bike rider playing with his phone (dash cam caught the whole thing) and he tried to say I pulled forward and hit him.

Now, what that being said, I've used iOttie on my bikes and they do work......but there's always that fear the bands will break.

The only one I've used reliably on my road and mountain bike that I don't even think about breaking is QuadLock.

This product is a poor design for any iPhone that has Face ID. This is horribly dangerous. There isn’t any viable way I can think of that makes this useable with Face ID.

I have one of these and it works great. I use cycling software (Strava) to track my rides and having my iPhone mounted is convenient.

As with car mounts, users should be responsible and keep their eyes on the road when moving.
