Is Tile Mate the ideal way to keep track of your beloved animals?

I’ve been using Tile to track my cats for the last few years.

I’ve trained them to come running in for a treat when their alarm goes off.

And if they have strayed beyond the back garden of ours or our neighbors- walking about with the app has helped either find them, or their lost collar when it comes detached!

Issues I’ve had - water proofing, my cats weigh 7kg, but even still the Tile Mate is as large an object I’d like to put on their collars, the other tiles are heavier and larger and wouldn’t suit my case. Walls and fences do interfere with the distance the tiles can be detected.

The recent update to show me where my tile has been has helped me understand just how far my cats do wander - an eye opener really.

But it’s the peace of mind that I can find them that really sells me on the Tile.
