I chose the iPhone 8 Plus instead of waiting for iPhone X and I don't regret it.

When the time came to order the iPhone 8 Plus or wait for the iPhone X I chose the former. Now that the iPhone X is finally here, I am happier with my decision now than I was when I made it.

I agree.

I much prefer TouchID. I’m also wondering how FaceID will work when wearing ski goggles and a balaclava, or my motorcycle helmet. FaceID is way les convenient for Apple Pay too.

FaceID feels way rushed and seems like a solution looking for a problem.

I also want to wait for the kinks to get worked out regarding apps being ready for the user interface and screen dimensions.

My 8+ is very nice.

I’ll give them a version or two to get things nailed down.

I got the 8 from the 7+ previously. I like the idea of the X, I’m just not ready yet, lol.

Haven’t upgrade since I just got this 7 a year ago, but I have no intention of getting the X when I’m due for one. I can’t see myself using anything other than Touch ID nor would I pay so much for a phone when the standard model is perfectly fine. For me it’s similar to when the PlayStation Pro was released, or when 4K TVs hit the market.
