Well the 2 devices are fairly similar in size so you never know, people might take a chance. The 10.5" is only 1cm taller and about 0.5cm wider so people might try to force cases. Special people out there

Kinda like the iPad Air vs iPad Pro 9.7". They were almost exact. But I do get where you are coming from, a little common sense would say, they have different screen sizes so probably wouldn't fit.
