I got mine when the 9.7 came out, I initially was at the store with my father when I was going to get it and he said "if you're going to get one, get something good" referring to the small one as not so good. Ever since I got the 12.9 I have loved and enjoyed it so much and don't regret getting it at all.
I use mine daily, from drawing to reading, watching shows to searching the web. It is not going to replace my computer but it is doing a lot for me.
