Apple hires doctor behind HealthKit-based diabetes monitoring system

According to a report out of Fast Company, Apple has hired the doctor that created a HealthKit-enabled diabetes monitoring system for tracking blood sugar levels in children. Rajiv Kumar created the system while working at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University.
