Yes, but I wouldn't call telling the country to boycott a company in which you have an equity stake particularly smart. Then again, what's a million dollars to Donald Trump?
He's not a fanboy. LOL. I wouldn't have expected him to divest. He was merely in support of the government.
I'm not calling him a fanboy. I'm just saying that the country boycotting a company can't be good for their stock price. Trump owns Apple stock. He's basically asking to lose money on his investment.
I doubt that mattered to him at the time.
Exactly. $1 million is nothing to a multi-billionaire and obviously he thought the risk/reward of him saying what he did was worth it.
