I'm trying to get an iMore account..do I or don't I have one?

I'm trying to get an IMore account...

I've tried to get an IMore account, but I'm in a catch-22 situation. I tried to create an account, because I didn't think I had one...I put in a user name and my address and it said that email address already had an account. I went "oh!" and clicked on "forgot my username"...when I put in my email address, it said "this email address is not associated with an account" (paraphrased).

So which is it?
