Sprint has confirmed that the wireless carrier will once again offer its customers two-year contract pricing options for its smartphones. The company ditched those plans a few weeks ago but has brought them back due to what it said was customer demand.

I'm glad they brought them back, and that they listened to customers. I prefer the 2yr contract. Been with Sprint for14yrs and don't plan on leaving. I'd rather pay the subsidized price and stay on contract.

I never understood how it was better for these carriers' bottom line to have customers walk out the store paying noting for the phone and only $20-$30/month, as opposed to having them pay $200-$500 upfront and subsidize the rest.
