Glitch causes Apple to miscalculate usage statistics for its News app

Publishers delivering content through the Apple News app may have been getting erroneous usage figures. Apple's SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue told the The Wall Street Journal yesterday that a glitch caused the company to miscalculate the number of people using the service.
