BBC finally ditching Adobe Flash in favor of HTML5 for iPlayer video playback

The BBC is catching up with technology by rolling a beta for HTML5 video playback for the company's iPlayer platform. Up until now, the BBC has relied on Adobe Flash to deliver content through the catch-up service.
