    Rite Aid has announced that beginning Saturday, August 15, it will begin accepting mobile payment services like Apple Pay in its 4,600 stores.

    It's about time. I think originally Rite Aid along with Wal-Mart was going with CurrentC which is still not up a running.

    Why any chain would not want to go with AP is beyond me. With the millions upon millions of AP capable devices and the million more coming with the new iPhone and Android converts.

    I switched from Rite Aid to a small Mom and Pop outfit. They won't do Pay, but I like it there better.
